Fat gold watch.

Fat Gold Watch Press is calling for submissions to an anthology of poems that celebrate Sylvia Plath’s life and work, but do not fetishize her suicide and death. All poems must be either a response to her work, or her life, with one caveat — they cannot be about death or suicide [I guess I won’t be submitting].

Work will be looked at more favorably if it responds to, for example, The Bee Poems, rather than “Daddy” or “Lady Lazarus”. The book will be published in Fall 2011.

ALL SUBMISSIONS ARE DUE JULY 15TH.

Isn’t that like asking people to submit jokes for an Andrew Dice Clay Roast without using the words “f*ing” or “c#ck”?
