What is the best thing about your job? I get to wear ball gowns and do voices.
What was your most embarrassing audition moment? Someone said, “How can you not know much about Greek mythology? All of Western literature is based on it.” To which I replied: “Your crippled gods do not impress me.” I was fired on the spot.
If you could live in any past era which would it be and why? Easy. 1300. Juan Ruiz—I will meet you in the bushes.
Who is your role model and why? Virginia Hall. Arch-enemy of the Gestapo.
What do you do for fun? Slay dragons.
Before I die, I want to: Pontoon.
When I fly I have to: Get up early.
If I had to spend $10 at my favorite fast food joint, I’d order: The Whataburger, Junior.
My coolest article of clothing: Nun-sailor shirt by Argentine designer Ffiocca.
My first financial splurge was: 4,000 pesos. The apartment came with machismo and a view.

If you could be granted 3 wishes, they’d be… 1. Janet Danahey is no longer in prison for life. 2. Lula Belle Hendrix comes back for a chat on this porch. 3. Science and religion make friends with each other.
If I could gay-marry anyone in the world, he/she would be…Lindsay Lohan. She could work a lot out in her poetry.
Where on earth are you most dying to go? Back to Patagonia. This time with a Jeep.
What’s the last thing that made you cry? Larry Brown’s story “Old Soldiers.”
Do you ever wish you could just be a normal kid? No.
What would people be surprised to know about you? My extended family’s been living on the same piece of land for over a century.
