Twenty minutes per pound at 325 degrees.

These are the turkey cooking directions I wrote down twenty-nine years ago.

– Wash innards out thoroughly.

– Get out early, wash, dry inside and out.

– Cook 20 minutes per pound at 325 degrees.

– Make a foil tent to keep from overbrowning.

– Kitchen Bouquet and melt butter – brush on turkey.

-Salt and pepper.

 

This is not. But I laughed pretty damn hard. Like. A lot.
